Hi all
After being without an rc for what seems like an eternity (bout 5months) i decided i needed something to give me my rc fix once again.
I really didn't fancy another largescale, and i thought id try the crawler/scaler scene
After much deliberation over what crawler to buy, the wraith, the ridgecrest, the scx10 i went for the ridgecrest. i managed to scoop up a brand new one for £249 from rcpitstop, great! £20 cheaper than elsewhere and free delivery sweetened the deal.
The Ridgecrest was born!!
The RTR car arrived nice and early the very next day and i hurriedly opened up the box taking the bits out, lovely car, lovely radio gear but wait wheres the battery.............No battery included!! GUTTED!!
guess i should have read the page properly but RTR doesnt always mean ready to run (more like ready to roll)
A few days later i took a trip to poulter park not that far from me (20mins drive) and met banners, gaz, jay, marie, and not forgetting little liam (though not so little anymore)
Had an absolute whale of a time thanks to gaz lending me a lipo so i could run. i managed well over 2 and a half hours on the 2s 5200mAh lipo and had a massive grin on my face.

It really was a great day and i got some awesome pics/video of all the cars in action
I decided pretty much at the start the silver window stickers didn't suit, so i got to work masking them up and spraying them up. Then i stumbled across some TM stickers upstairs in the mancave and knew exactly what to do!
