| Did you have a good look inside when you had it off?
There must be someone that has an old one in their pit box, they could lend you to test, doesn't matter if its a crap one aslong as it starts

| Well before you save up for a new head, rule out the carb first | |

| we are trying yet another carb today but it sucks and puffs without a carb and exhaust on so i would say its not the carb tbh | |

| Well we will see when you try, atleast then if it doesn't start, or even run nicely the you will know its the head and therefore not spending money on something you didn't need lol

| I have a couple of 35mm heads They are dead mine you But you could at least try them an see if it's the same I'm currently up at Jayne's, an they are sat in my 'MAN' shed, so that's not a huge help either I am still of the mind its the carb, an not the engine, you honestly can't have got it to suck an bow in reverse I've seen some of the comments on the other forum, Is the pull start going the right way, has the magnet moved, is the engine going in reverse All seem like wild guesses really I've also got a standard engine sat in the shed, an will test to see if that blow's out the carb side, but I'm pretty sure it does So try not to worry too much just yet | |

| there is always bnlowback on a carb from back pressure but never strong enough to spray the fuel out while the choke is even on lol and ive never known it to suck from the exhaust , i could try one of those headas if thats ok mark , everything is as its should be which gets me lol | |

| Surely it will suck a little from the outlet on the down stroke anyway? the only problem you are looking at is the fuel not going where its meant to and therefore being forced out the only way possible, so must be the carb. | |

| well it wasn't the carb , mud stripped the head and put the old piston ring on and it fired after the 3rd pull lol and its running pretty sweet now , it still couldn't be the carb anyway as its was doing the same thing blowing shed loads out the inlet port withought the carb on , and i mean like it should though the exhaust , but all seems ok with it now | |

| It hapens a lot fella, when putting a new ring on, you can accidently flat spot the ring if not parfectly straight, once done its enough for it not to start at all. Very annoying | |
