You mean you havent set it to do this yet
I have the DX3-R
But iam guessing it will be along the same lines
Choose the switch/channel you want to use as your third channel killswitch Switch/button
Go into your main menu an find that switch (Its usually in SYSTEM, or is on the DX3-R,mine is set to switch E)
In there you will have setting for the use for that channel/switch, set it to act as 3rd channel or AUX, it may also give you the choice of, 2 position, or 3 position (2P 3P), on that switch, basicly have many movements the switch has to do, to finish its job, in steps I.e 2 positions is one forward one back, on/off basicly, 3 means it clicks forward twice, to turn off, once back to turn on (sounds complicated, its not trust me)
You can also have linier which acts like the throttle an steering, so not stepped, but smooth movements
You dont really want that for an ON/OFF switch
So choose the switch you want
Set it to AUX 2P, or 3P an it should work (for my kill switch on my handset, it has to be on 3P to work, not sure why, so you may need to test it)
If you have an LED on the killswitch its easyier to check without starting the engine, but if not, you can check for a spark, or just see if it kills the engine, once you flick the switch
As you say its working from signal drop, so its getting power an such
So shouldnt be too much of a problem to make it work from a chosen switch too
