TM 'T' Party 2012

Well on the back, an Strength of Another extremely Successful event

We are Already planning for Next years

Date wise we are going for either the

17th 18th 19th of August

or the

24th 25th 26th of August


We have some plans in mind for next year
Another New Ramp, to follow on from this years New TM ramp addition,
We have something just Plain Mental in mind , an well Very TMish to be fair

We are also open to any ideas, so fire away, let us know what you fancy, or think we need, or that would work well for us all

A LARGER track is planned, much wider to allow for the growing number of awesome 1/5th scale beasts
so again any thoughts please add them

This Thread will keep being updated Throughout the coming year in the build up
so keep an eye on it

i think some speed trials wit 2 cars (dran from chris's straw hat ) round a set course ( using the ramps too) coud be fun lol

The track is going to be bigger because you're all rubbish at getting ya lovely 1/5 beasts round it

Na really though, Markus is right, we do need suggestions, good ones lol As for the ramp though, we'll deal with that lol

I do think we need to get some ideas for the 1/5s as they are limited for jumping, due to them not really being made for it, I know we're making the track bigger, but there must be something else we can do for them?

The BIG AIR attempts need sorting....those overhead lines are feeling left out from the last couple of years

Ill try and actually fix my car for next year and them wires will get it! as for idea for 1/5th sell them and we need a bigger ramp but that is a given

Personally, I don't think you need to try to hard for the 5th scale 'track'

A decent size figure of 8 with crossover mount ramp is plenty so long as there is enough space to get speed up.

If you could get 4 round it at the same time, and do heats and final so as many as want get a race against each other.

Names drawn out, and marshall for each others heats.

As for TM? It Roxxxx Ive loved every year ive been :D

As for new idea's the barn didnt get used much this year, only for the clearing away efforts (THANKYOU TO ALL THAT HELPED)

Im personally thinking that we should have a microT or something along the lines (Possibly a drift challenge?) Set up in the Barn, It is alittle trek dont get me wrong, but i recon if your interested then it will kill a few hours, and get us some more Video Footage Time :)

And again... for the few/All (Thanks pancho) That has kites, Possibly on sunday before packing up we can get the kites out, ive just bought a power kite after having ago of pancho's and have had my daily (getting ripped around a feild) Apart from it was a beech this time :)

So i recon, could we have some area for kite flying abilities :D And possibly incorperate some sort of kite flying buggy? I dont mind anyone having ago of my kite, aslong as its not destroyed, but kite buggy races would fill in some time too :D

right have a ideas for a ramp podium to jump on and over as it unlikely we can have a transit to jump every year.
Thing is i need to know about storage space Chris

The podium i thinking of is 8ft tall x 8ft long x 4 ft wide.
can probably make it so top comes off and the side come apart if needs be but need to know if it possibly to store it there as i will have to make it on site and ideally leave it there

Let me know what you think and if it possibly to store and how small it needs to be to store it

ive more than likely missed it, but has any dates been confiremed for the 2012 bash in august? i would love to know and 24th 25th and 26th are the best date *get paid on the 25th ;)*, also why i ask is i have about 3 or 4 mates who are wanting to come after seeing vids from lasts years awesome bash, so i need to know so i can majorly pre-arrange driving up and work likes me to book days off very very early! as there buggers like that!

Sadly due to unforeseen circumstances, it is with a saddened heart I have to announce that this years 'T' Party will have to be cancelled

I know this is unfortunate, and a sad loss to many who were looking forward to it, including myself
But this years Big bash I'm sorry to say can not go ahead

It's not a decision we have wanted to make, nor have we made it lightly, nor are we happy in making it, but we just can't pull it together this year sadly


We will be planning for next year, so Please don't think this is an end to the event,
As soon as we can make next years dates available, we will once again start in the planning process


Once again I would like to say Sorry to everyone
And I hope to see you all soon when we come back, BIGGER and BETTER
