| I saw Freeprawn had a new chassis in. Manufactured by ZMC it allows for twin servo steering and gives some serious return bends for strength. I wanted one - no needed one lol! I convinced myself further justifying the larger fuel tank and the space to try improving the braking. Well, I got one :excited: :excited: :excited: I was due a rebuild on the buggy any way so it was a no brainer. I took the oppertunity to add an alloy clutch carrier and an exhaust I've had hanging around for 6 months. It went together well with no problems. The bends add a good amount of strength and does away with the front brace. The tank and dual servo savers come as stock with a y lead for the day it happens :) - yeah 2 servos for over kill steering! The only problematic area was the alloy diff case - it requires a shorter screw or for some material to be removed but that's easily sorted. I'm happy with it's looks. Trial time over the weekend and report back. I'm gonna bash some snot out of it :) I like the fact it's different. I think I may becoming an alloy tart! | |

| WOW That is really impressive Steve An changes the whole look, should also add in a load of strength an the ability for twin steering servos is awesome The new fuel tank does look quite a bit larger, Is it ? An the new side guards, should keep out a load more crap too TOP JOB | |

| Cheers lads, it does look nice thanks.
The tank is another 700ml as opposed to 600 in the stock guise. I think it's the same as the MCD and Redcats have. The room on the chassis is a lot better with it like this. I've managed to squeeze an extra disc on to help stopping. I occasionally use the brakes lol
I've been hoarding bits n pieces for 6 months or so, just need another servo for the steering. Not that it needs it as such but it will half the load.
Maiden run soon....wish me luck ;)

| big improvement Phil. I hear on the grapevine that carbon fibre discs are being trialled - shhhh don't tell anyone!
The brakes alone are almost worth the upgrade for me. I was due a rebuild, this has been an absolute no brainer! Some say that I'm still under qualified there lol | |
